What a Wednesday. These Fantastic Five high school sports athletes made names for themselves. Some put up big numbers. Others kept the opponents off the board or crossed the lines first. Find out who had the top performances from September 18:
Andy Destefano, Blackstone Valley Tech field hockey
The goalie made 16 saves to earn the shutout in a 1-0 win over Bedford. Macy Sullivan scored in the third quarter for the Beavers (5-0-1) with an assist from Kaylie Ciccone.
Anna Iacobucci, Hudson girls soccer
She could not be stopped with five goals against Fontbonne Academy in a 6-0 win. Maddie Haher converted a penalty for the Hawks (5-1). Hudson's Audrey Catato distributed three assists, and Daria Giorgi Woodford had two assists.
Elyse Srodawa, Hopkinton girls cross country
She started the season in strong form, winning the individual race against Norwood in 18 minutes, 19 seconds. The Hillers prevailed 19-40, as Malia Grant took third followed by Brigid Cavanaugh (fourth), Avery Sawyer (fifth) and Chloe Tumbleton (sixth).
Addi Trella, Tri-County volleyball
She pulled up 36 digs, as the Cougars defeated Bristol Plymouth 3-2. Tri-County's Blayke Barrows added 26 assists and 20 digs in the 25-22, 22-25, 19-25, 27-25, 15-8 win. Stella Leavey put down 10 kills with 11 digs for the Cougars (2-4, 1-0 Mayflower).
Jennifer Yates, Hudson volleyball
She put down 19 kills with 13 digs and three blocks in a 3-2 win over Wachusett. Liv Scafidi fired 10 aces to go along with nine digs for the Hawks (2-5) in the 24-26, 25-21, 17-25, 25-17, 15-9 triumph. Hudson's Emma Burney put down eight kills with to blocks, while Macey Cooper contributed five kills and tow aces.

BLACKSTONE VALLEY TECH 3, Bay Path 0: Nadi Shloul put down 15 kills with three aces for the Beavers (5-0) in a 25-9, 25-19, 25-21 victory. BVT's Abigail Whittier had four aces and four kills, while Lauren Gronda put down six kills. Fraceska Malo contributed four aces for the Beavers.
FRANKLIN 3, Milford 0: Makayla Kuykendall flashed all over the court for the Panthers (6-1, 5-1 Hockomock) with eight digs, six kills and four aces in the 25-7, 25-12, 25-18 victory. Franklin setter Brooke Daniels passed out 16 assists, and Emerson Delleo put down nine kills.

ASSABET Valley 3, AMSA 1: Amanda Pererria put down three kills with five blocks for Assabet (5-2, 4-1 Colonial) in the 22-25 , 25-23, 25-20, 25-22 win. Assabet's Claire Strocio had nine assists, while Katie Taylor (ace, block) put down seven kills and Emily Spencer pulled up six digs. Guil Yost had five kills and five aces for the Eagles (2-5), while Molly Hauri contributed six kills and two blocks.
ASHLAND 3, Norton 0: Isabelle Lai fired five aces with two kills for the Clockers (5-2, 4-1 Tri-Valley) in the 25-23, 25-12, 25-15 victory. Ashland's Allie Politic had three aces.
KEEFE TECH 3, Worcester Tech 1: Kyla Bilton totaled four kills and three aces for the Broncos (3-5, 2-2 Colonial) in a 27-25, 26-24, 20-25, 25-18 win. Keefe Tech's Anna Almeida put down eight kills.

HOPEDALE 169, Nipmuc 173: Colin Hayes shot a 38 to add another medal to his stack for the Blue Raiders (5-3, 4-1 Dual Valley).
DOVER-SHERBORN 238, Norton 248: Brennan Cavaliero earned the medalist for the Raiders (5-2, 5-0 Tri-Valley) with a 1-over 37 at TPC Boston.
