Who Is Regé-Jean Page's Girlfriend? All About Emily Brown

In case you haven't heard, Regé-Jean Page—better known as the charming Duke of Hastings in Bridgerton—has found his duchess.

The 36-year-old actor has been in a long-term relationship with soccer player Emily Brown, and while they've avoided discussing their romance in public, I've seen enough photos to know that these two are head over heels for each other. (Seriously though, did you see how cozy they looked at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships in London?)

Since I'm all caught up on Page's latest projects (including his upcoming spy-thiller, Black Bag, with Cate Blanchett), I've devoted some time to reading more about his real-life romance with Brown. From her career to their dating timeline, keep reading for details about their relationship.

1. Regé-Jean Page's Girlfriend, Emily Brown, Is a Soccer Player and Copywriter

According to The Daily Mail, Emily Brown is a freelance copywriter, having worked with companies like Nike, Converse and Uber. She is also a part-time soccer player for Football Beyond Borders (FBB), a charity organization that, per the official website, "works with young people from areas of socio-economic disadvantage who are passionate about football."

2. Brown Went to Manchester University

Ten years ago, The Tab surveyed students on the streets of London about the weirdest things they've ever stolen while drunk—and one of them happened to be Brown, who studied at Manchester University.

She told the publication, "I managed to sneak a giant vase, about 75cm tall from a club without anyone noticing, even though there were flowers poking out of it. I also decided I wanted curtains for my room so I stole a blind. And a guy from the band Faithless gave me a load of weed once when I was in Ibiza."

3. Page and Brown Have Been Dating Since 2019

How they first met is unknown, but a photo of the couple first surfaced on Instagram in 2019. Page's co-star, Nicola Coughlan, shared a since-removed post that featured multiple snaps of the actor posing with his girlfriend and the rest of the Bridgerton cast at the season one Christmas party. Then, in February 2021, the couple was spotted showing PDA while spending time together in London.

Later that year, the couple attended their first red carpet event together. They were first seen at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in September 2021, and they've since stepped out for multiple outings, including the 2022 Wimbledon Championships.

4. They Haven't Talked About Their Relationship Publicly

Neither Brown nor Page have publicly discussed their relationship, and Page hasn't shared any pics of his partner on social media. However, the actor has confirmed that he's a romantic at heart.

While speaking with Entertainment Weekly in 2020, Page revealed that he's definitely a romantic. He said, "I'm a huge fan of romance as a concept. Romance is a wonderful thing and we need more of it in the world. Most things at their core are love stories anyway, whether they realize it or not. It's hilarious, the more seriously a show tries to take itself and detach itself from that, the more that the love story generally tends to come forward."

The actor has also denied rumors about dating his Bridgerton co-star, Phoebe Dynevor, and cleverly side-stepped questions about his own love life. For instance, in 2021, when asked about who the cast was dating off-camera, he told E! News, "I think everything you need to know is on camera. That's why we presented it so beautifully for you. All the sparks that flew off of the beautiful scripts that we were handed, and so I think that the sparky scripted material are more than enough."

5. Emily Brown Is Not on Social Media

Since Brown prefers to keep her personal life private, she currently has no active, public accounts on social media. She reportedly had a LinkedIn page at one point, but it has since been taken down, after news got out about her romance with Page.

6. They Are Reportedly Living Together

In 2021, The Daily Mail reported that the two bought a home together in February 2020, just a few months after Page completed filming for Bridgerton season one. As for the kind of home they purchased, those details haven't been revealed, but it's very likely that Page and Brown reside together in London.

7. They Don't Share Any Children

While Page's Bridgerton character, Simon, was quite vocal about not wanting children on the show, Page has not confirmed if he plans to start a family with his girlfriend IRL. Still, it's worth noting that the actor has a knack for telling children's bedtime stories, as I've seen on CBeebies in 2021. Something tells me he'd make a great dad.
