Rhode Islanders and 'Bachelor' alums Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon welcome new baby

Bachelor Nation alums and Rhode Island locals Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti have welcomed their second child together, a boy, the couple told PEOPLE.

Hayden Cruise Haibon was born at 2:29 p.m. on July 22 in Iaconetti's native Virginia.

Haibon and Iaconetti are already parents to 2-year-old Dawson.

"Seeing Dawson meet his little brother for the first time was as precious as we always imagined the moment would be," Haibon told PEOPLE. "Dawson is full of love and kept petting Hayden."

The couple has local ties in Rhode Island. Haibon, 35, and Iaconetti, 36, are the owners of Audrey's Coffee House and Lounge in South Kingstown.

The pair, who met on "Bachelor in Paradise," married in 2019 at Newport's Rosecliff mansion.

Haibon also grew up in Warwick.

Haibon and Iaconetti said Hayden Cruise's name is a nod to the couple's love for "Star Wars."

"We joked about naming him Anakin as I’m a big 'Star Wars' fan and Ashley fan girl-ed over Hayden Christensen as a teen. That sparked the idea for the name Hayden," Haibon told the magazine.

Their son's middle name also honors their time on "Bachelor in Paradise."

"We always knew the middle name would be Cruise because we bonded over being Tom Cruise fans while first meeting on 'Bachelor in Paradise 2,'" Haibon said. "We’ve always loved the passion, determination, and charisma of his characters."
