We hope to continue offering more destinations in the years to come.”

According to the airport Costa Rica flights will be on Fridays and return Jan. 24.

Cancun/Riviera Maya, Mexico flights will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays starting Jan. 25.

And Punta Cana, Dominican Republic flights will return on Thursdays and Sundays starting Jan. 26.

“Rockford has been a successful market for vacation companies like our Apple Vacations, Funjet Vacations, and Travel Impressions brands for many years, and we’re excited to bring this service back to RFD for 2025,” Ray Snisky, group president at ALG Vacations, said in the release.

According to the airport, more than 100,000 passengers flew out of Rockford with Apple Vacations in the 15 years before the pandemic.
