Rush and Score: Rickards football Karlise Price is the Campus USA Credit Union Athlete of the Week
The polls are shut and the results are in, we have a winner for the Campus USA Credit Union Athlete of the Week poll for Sep. 9-14.
Taking home 59% of the vote with 4,561 votes cast, Rickards football running back Karlise Price wins the Campus USA Credit Union Athlete of the Week for his performance in the Raiders 14-7 win over Chiles.
He posted eight carries for 81 yards and one touchdown in the win over Chiles to help lead Rickards to a 3-1 start to the season.
Congratulations to Price and the finalists Teagan Hackett (Florida High football), Aditi Mukhirala (Leon volleyball), Kingston Williams (Taylor County football), Kate Stewart (Chiles volleyball), Jamarin Simmons (Godby football), Henry Lewis (Wakulla cross country) and Isabella Laughton (Wakulla cross country)!
The Tallahassee Democrat/Big Bend Preps runs an Athlete of the Week contest every week, recognizing one standout high school athlete. Voting for AOTW opens on Monday and closes on Thursday.
