Ryan Gosling and Wife Eva Mendes Make First Public Appearance With Daughters at Paris Olympics

Ryan Gosling and his wife, actress Eva Mendes, joined the many other big-name celebrities in Paris, France for the 2024 Olympics, bringing along their two young daughters in a rare public appearance.

The whole family came to check out the international games in what is reportedly the little girls' first public appearance, attending the equestrian Grand Prix freestyle at the Chateau de Versailles on Sunday, Aug. 4.

As Gosling and Mendes are very private when it comes to their daughters, Esmeralda, 9, and Amada, 8, the girls were not included in most photos of the event, although Amada's head, with her dark hair in little space buns, could be seen in a snap of Gosling walking to their seats.

Gosling went for a relaxed look for the family day out, rocking a white shirt with a plaid button-up over the top, along with a Paris Olympics white baseball cap. Meanwhile, Mendes looked stunning in a navy-colored sleeveless dress, bold white sunglasses and a chic sunhat.

The family was later spotted attending the women's artistic gymnastics uneven bar finals, with Gosling switching up his white hat for a green one, as seen in photos shared by Hello!

Although Amada and Esmeralda's faces were blurred out for their privacy, the girls' outfits could be seen. The younger sister wore a yellow floral ensemble while Esmeralda had on a white sweatshirt with an American flag and the Olympics logo.

Gosling and Mendes are notoriously private, with the couple only making rare public appearances together, much less with their children. While they have been romantically involved since 2011 when they met on the set of their film The Place Beyond the Pines, the couple only revealed that they were married in 2022, although it's unclear when they tied the knot.

They welcomed their first daughter, Esmeralda, in fall of 2014, while Amada came along in early 2016.
