This story does not contain spoilers from Cobra Kai season 6, part 2.

After just about everyone came to blows in Cobra Kai’s season 5 finale, the Valley’s rival schools are finally ready for peace. In fact, the first episode of season 6 is titled “Peacetime in the Valley.” As we begin the final season, Daniel (Ralph Macchio), Johnny (William Zabka), and Chozen (Yuji Okumoto) are looking to end the wanton violence and send off the Netflix series right with the Sekai Taikai global karate tournament.

But with a three-part finale planned on Netflix, Cobra Kai fans know that the storm is just around the corner. “The question is, will they implode from within?” cocreator Jon Hurwitz teased in a preview for Netflix. “Will conflicts reemerge within our team? And eventually, will they be up for the task when the challenges show up at the Sekai Taikai?” To find out more, read below for everything we know so far about the future of Cobra Kai.

When Does Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 2 Come Out?

Cobra Kai is splitting season 6’s fifteen-episode event into three parts. Following the first five episodes on July 18, another five will drop for part 2 on November 28. The last five will conclude the series sometime in 2025.

Why did the Cobra Kai team choose to end the show this way? “It’s almost like three acts in a bigger story,” Hurwitz told Gizmodo. “That’s just something that we decided to do creatively. When we talked about that with Netflix, they loved the idea of the three drops....It is all by design.”

What’s Next for The Karate Kid After Cobra Kai?

Although Cobra Kai is coming to a close, it’s nowhere near the end for the Miyagi-verse. A new Karate Kid movie is currently in development that plans to bridge the original trilogy with the 2010 Karate Kid remake starring Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith. Macchio and Chan are set to star in a film together for the first time, alongside new Karate Kid Ben Wang (American Born Chinese). Fear not, students: Cobra Kai never dies.
