Sarah Michelle Gellar seemingly passed down her Buffy the Vampire Slayer moves to her 15-year-old daughter, Charlotte Grace. On Thursday, the actress shared a rare video of her mini-me in honor of the teen's birthday on Instagram, and in the clip, Charlotte performed a gymnastic routine that was reminiscent of her mom's demon-busting acrobatics from the '90s.

The footage showed Charlotte—dressed in a light pink tank top and white shorts—doing a handspring followed by a backflip on an inflatable mat in the family's backyard. After showing off her impressive skills, she flashed a huge smile and raised her arms in the air—clearly, pleased with her accomplishment.

"We are all jumping and flipping Charlotte because it’s your 15 Birthday!! I don’t know how it’s possible but every year I love you more ❤️ 🎉🎁 🎂," Gellar captioned the clip, which was set to the tune of Stevie Wonder's "Happy Birthday."

Gellar shares Charlotte with her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., as well as a son named Rocky James, 11.

Back in September 2022, Gellar spoke about being a parent and why it was one of the best decisions she's ever made in her life. "It’s not about what we want to do; it's about, is the homework done? All of a sudden you’re thinking about somebody else," she told Today. "You’ve created these beings and you’re responsible for them and if you take that as seriously as we both do, it bonds you in a different way."

Jointly, Gellar and Prinze have made the decision to keep their children out of the spotlight, limiting Charlotte and Rocky's public appearances to a minimum—and if they do show up on their parents' social media pages, their faces are often obscured. "I know firsthand how hard it is to be a girl in middle school. And I didn't have social media to contend with," Gellar explained, noting that Charlotte won't be getting her own Instagram account anytime soon.

Gellar continued, "She’s not really interested (in social media) but she also understands why I hold steadfast to my rules until the time is right and I feel that she's ready."
