Back in 2018, TMZ reported Savannah and her co-host Hoda Kotb (who just announced that she's leaving Today to spend more time with her kids, by the way) were both earning $7 million per year.
Meanwhile, Page Six did a deep dive and reported that Savannah had signed a contract extension in December 2016 which actually put her yearly salary up to $8 million. Either way, NBC was so impressed with her job moderating a town hall with Donald Trump in 2020 that they decided to give her a major raise.
Details on the exact number are unknown, but a source told the outlet, “Savannah’s new deal will be significantly more than $8 million a year, taking into consideration inflation, [Matt] Lauer’s old deal, and her popularity.”
Psst: Matt Lauer's aforementioned "old deal" was massive—a rumored $20 million a year. TBD on if Savannah secured that much!
Savannah Has Millions in Real Estate
Savannah and her husband Michael Feldman have three properties: a Tribeca condo that was purchased for $3.5 million back in 2012 (which, if you live in NYC, you are well aware is probably worth double that now, if not more).
And because why stop at just one Tribeca apartment, the couple went ahead and bought another in the same swanky neighborhood for $7.114 million, which they ended up putting on the market for around the same amount they purchased it for.
