Savannah shares text from daughter with message for Taylor Swift at US Open

Savannah Guthrie's daughter wasted no time asking her mom to send her favorite singer a message once she found out Taylor Swift was at the U.S. Open.

Vale sent the TODAY co-anchor a message to share with Swift after realizing both her mom and the pop star were at the men's singles final between Taylor Fritz and Jannik Sinner on Sept. 8.

"It's vale," Savannah's daughter started her string of messages.

"Did you meet her," she continued, adding "???" for emphasis.

"Tell her I wrote her a fan letter and she is the best singer in the world," the 10-year-old added, before sending a GIF with the caption, "Did someone say, Taylor Swift."

Savannah then shared a sweet selfie of Vale on her Instagram story.

Savannah attended the men's championship alongside her TODAY co-host Hoda Kotb and TODAY With Hoda & Jenna host Jenna Bush Hager.

The trio got up to all sorts of antics, including filming Swift with her beau Travis Kelce across the stadium, before turning the camera back to themselves.

“We’re with Taylor,” Savannah said in an Instagram post, pausing before adding, “Fritz. Taylor Fritz, the player.”

Savannah, Hoda and Jenna giggled and pointed at the court, where Fritz was battling Sinner for the trophy. Sinner prevailed and won the final, 6-3, 6-4, 7-5.

"Rooting for Taylor obviously," Savannah captioned her post.

Hoda also snapped a sweet photo of herself, Savannah and Jenna, which she posted on Instagram.

"Gotta root for Taylor!!!! Fun sunday with my girls," she wrote in the caption.

While Savannah has been attending matches at the U.S. Open since Sept. 7 with her husband, Michael Feldman, alongside Jenna and her husband, Henry Hager, Swift made her first appearance at this year's tennis championship the next day, on Sept. 8.

Swift wore a red-and-white gingham dress, which matched with Kelce's white shirt, cream cardigan and red-and-green striped bucket hat.

Inside her box, Swift was seen dancing with Kelce, as well as hanging out with her pals Brittany and Patrick Mahomes.
