Take a scenic drive to mountain town farms, vineyards on ASAP Farm Tour, Sept 21-22
ASHEVILLE - Discover regional farms and stock up on local, seasonal ingredients with family and friends during a self-guided tour through the countryside.
Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project will host its annual two-day ASAP Farm Tour from noon-5 p.m. Sept. 21-22.
The family-friendly event will include guided tours, demonstrations and tastings with something different offered at the 21 participating farms, all within an hour’s drive of Asheville.
The farms are grouped in "clusters" to assist attendees with navigating their farm adventures.
Destinations include returning favorites and tour newcomers.:

One Farm Tour pass is valid for all passengers in a single vehicle visiting all farms on both dates and costs $35 before Sept. 21 and $45 on Sept. 21-22, if available.
