"College GameDay" will have a new anthem for its coverage of the 2024 college football season.

ESPN has announced that "GameDay's" anthem for 2024 will be "Get By," from Nashville native and Grammy Award-nominated singer and songwriter Jelly Roll (Jason DeFord). Roll's new single, from his "Beautifully Broken" album, will be the soundtrack for college football coverage across the ESPN family of networks.

The season starts Saturday with a matchup between No. 10 Florida State and Georgia Tech in Dublin in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic.

"There’s a powerful connection between music and college football, and for more than a decade, the ESPN college football music anthem has been integral to the promotion of the sport while its release has marked the unofficial start to the season," Curtis Friends, ESPN vice president of marketing, said in a news release.

"Jelly Roll is a talented, award-winning artist whose music speaks to the passion of college football fans across the country, and we’re excited ‘Get By’ will soundtrack the sport all season long.”

"College Gameday" will debut for the 2024 season ahead of the ACC matchup between the Seminoles and Yellow Jackets in Ireland.

2024 'College GameDay' anthem

While not written as a college football song per se, fans of the sport may note some relevant lyrics in the latest "GameDay" anthem. Among them: "staring down the clock," "throwing hallelujahs" and "show up Sunday morning looking just like last night."

ESPN has partnered with a musical artist to create an anthem for college football coverage for 11 seasons. Past artists have included Rick Ross, Fall Out Boy and Imagine Dragons, among others. "Something Real" by Post Malone was the anthem for ESPN coverage last season.
