Tackle Lance Heard among Tennessee football players inactive vs Kent State

Tennessee football starting left tackle Lance Heard is among a few notable players inactive for the No. 7 Vols' game against Kent State tonight.

Backup running back Cam Seldon, five-star freshman edge rusher Jordan Ross, sophomore defensive end Caleb Herring and sophomore offensive lineman Masai Reddick are also out, a UT spokesperson confirmed.

UT has lost two players to season-ending injuries. Defensive back Jourdan Thomas, a projected starter at nickelback, suffered a knee injury in preseason practice. And freshman defensive end Emmanuel Okoye is also out for the season without playing in a game.
