A perfect day off for Tallulah Willis is filled with simple moments.

"Waking up laughing with my partner [musician Justin Acee] would be the best kind of day, which I will be honest happens a lot," Willis, 30, tells PEOPLE. "And then we'll take my two bigger dogs on a walk around the neighborhood, which if you hit it around the right time, it's kind of like a dog city hour."

Not that she'll have days off anytime soon. The Los Angeles-based entrepreneur and artist is now launching a capsule collection from luxury silk brand Kumi Kookoon called Kumi KøøBuu. Already a fan of the company, Willis reached out to them three years ago to discuss a collaboration. The result is vibrant new shades of dyed silk unique to her collection in various products including throws, bed sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases.

"I pitched them a lot of different ideas coming in and then what kind of came to be was this idea of focusing on the blankets, because I really found myself drawn to them, especially because they have a weighted nature to them," says Tallulah, who was diagnosed with autism last year. "And as I'm learning more about my autism and my sensory stuff, there is something very safe and special about that weighted feeling."

As often as her schedule allows, "I'll go visit my dad and spend some time with him," says Tallulah of her dad Bruce, who lives with frontotemporal dementia. "But also whether it be work or not, I do need downtime. So there is a lot of what my partner and I say, we're 'going nonverbal,' and we just sit on the couch like, 'I love you. There's no issue. I just can't speak right now.'"

When she does see her dad, Tallulah admits it's important for her "to go into it open to what the visit is, and knowing that before I go in, I'm solid. I'm okay," she allows. "I've done what I need to do to make sure that I can just be present."

For now Bruce is "doing the same in terms of the last we kind of updated, which I'm told is good," adds Tallulah. "But whatever kind of day it is, my family and I meet him where he's at."

Tallulah's collection, Kumi KøøBuu, is available on Kumi Kookoon's website and @kumikookoonofficial on Instagram.
