Target car seat trade-in program returns: How to qualify for 20% discount

Target is returning its car seat trade-in program, where old car seats can be dropped off at the store for a 20% discount on other baby gear like car seats, strollers, bouncers and highchairs.

The car seat trade-in event will run from Sunday, Sept. 15, to Wednesday, Sept. 18, and all stores are participating, except for small-format stores.

Target first introduced its car seat trade-in program in 2016, and since then, over 3 million car seats have been recycled, according to its website.
