Taylor Armstrong Confirms She's Done With 'RHOC' After One Season

Taylor Armstrong announced she will not be returning to the cast of Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18.
The news of her departure from the hit reality series shocked fans, who probably wouldn't have believed the announcement had the 52-year-old Bravolebrity not shared it herself.
"Loved spending time with the ladies of #RHOC and thankful I got to give the viewers an update on my life," Armstrong wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, Nov. 29. "I’ve made some real friendships that I cherish. Wishing the ladies all the best for season 18."
"P.S. Adding season 17 to my IMDb...😉🍊 #realhousewivesoforangecounty," she concluded.
Prior to joining Season 17 of RHOC, Armstrong was previously cast in the sister series, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She first appeared in the premiere season of the series and later departed after Season 3 following the death of her ex-husband Russell Armstrong.
She came back for Season 4 as a guest and continued to film as a "friend" up until Season 6 of RHOBH, when she retired from the series for good.
Armstrong later got back into filming full-time in 2021, making her grand return on Season 2 of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, which aired last year. It was then announced she'd be back again as a "Real Housewife," but this time under a different franchise–RHOC–a first for any cast member.
Her tenure didn't last nearly as long, as she's confirmed she's departing her latest reality TV stunt after only one season. As it stands, it's currently unclear why Armstrong will be departing the Bravo show, and not only fans are frustrated but her former cast members, too.
RHOBH's Teddi Mellencamp commented, "From cotton candy to ice cream, you’ve given us so much! Gonna miss watching you ❤️."
"No 😢 you will be missed Taylor. #friendsforever," wrote RHOC's Tamra Judge.
While The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks added some much-needed positivity, sharing, "Looking good friend!"
The full cast of Season 18 has yet to be announced. Previous seasons of both RHOC and RHOBH are currently streaming on Peacock.
