Taylor Swift and Ed Kelce Are ‘Giving In-Laws’ in Footage From 2024 NFL Season Kickoff
Taylor Swift returned to Arrowhead Stadium to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce, but footage of the pop superstar hanging out with the tight end's father, Ed, quickly grabbed the attention of fans.
The 2024 NFL season opener between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, Sept. 5, may have gotten a late start due to a 20-minute storm delay, but it wasn't long before the 14-time Grammy winner was spotted in Kelce's suite sitting alongside the athlete's father.
A 12-second clip uploaded to X (formerly Twitter) shortly after the game began airing captured The Tortured Poets Department artist smiling with a drink in her hand and casually chatting it up with Ed. At one point, Swift, 34, leaned in close to point something out while continuing the conversation with her boyfriend's doting dad.
"I’m CRYING ITS GIVING IN-LAWS," one Swiftie exclaimed.
"He heard that line in so high school," someone else joked of the new song Swift seemingly penned about her whirlwind romance with Travis.
"WHAT CUTIES," a third squealed. "OMGOMGOMGOMG."
Another quipped, "Where is that lip reader girl at when we need her."
"She looks so happy and calm!" a different fan added. "I am so thrilled for our girl @taylorswift13 #ChiefsKingdom."

Someone else gushed over Swift's game day fashion, pleased that she was "wearing friendship bracelets," to which another pointed out she was also rocking "the TnT bracelet" she received from the three-time Super Bowl champ.
It wasn't just her game day jewelry that won over the style-focused Swifties, as her thigh-high red leather boots also began trending on several social media platforms as fans hoped they were a potential hidden reference and Easter egg to a highly-anticipated announcement regarding reputation (Taylor's Version).
