Taylor Swift Puts Her Preppy Spin on Bestie Gigi Hadid's Black Shearling Jacket

Taylor Swift is back in New York City, and she stepped out on Thursday in a chic look that included all the classic TSwift style elements we know and love—plus, some appreciation and support for her bestie Gigi Hadid.
The “Now That We Don’t Talk” singer was pictured leaving Electric Lady Studios in Greenwich Village dressed for a night out on the town. The centerpiece of her outfit was the sold-out “Grizzly Bomber'' jacket from Hadid’s luxury clothing brand, Guest in Residence. The cozy black cashmere jacket, which retails for $895, features contrasting white shearling accents along the collar, sleeves, cuffs, pockets, and hem. Swift kept things monochromatic but made it her own by infusing the look with her signature preppy style in the form of a black pleated miniskirt, matching transparent tights, and gorgeous heeled penny loafers. She accented her ‘fit with a small black purse and glammed-up with none other than a bright red lip and black winged eyeliner. For a final touch, she wore her soft golden locks cascading down and around her shoulders.
Swift’s outing comes after a trip to Foxborough, Massachusetts, where she watched her man Travis Kelce and the rest of the Kansas City Chiefs dominate the New England Patriots, winning 27-17. For the occasion, she traded black for Chiefs colors, donning a red pleated skirt, gray team crewneck, and red-and-white beanie.
This is just one of Swift’s many Chiefs-branded outfits, as she has dutifully been dressing the part as Kelce’s biggest supporter—she was even recently bestowed the title of a member of the “Chiefs Kingdom” by quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
“At first, I felt like everybody kind of stayed away, just let (Kelce) do what he was doing,” Mahomes said to CBS Mornings’ Nate Burleson when asked about Swift and Kelce’s romance. “Then he started bringing Taylor around when he realized how cool of a person she is. There was a couple of jokes here and there at the beginning, but she's just part of Chiefs Kingdom now. She's part of the team."
