Tee Higgins expects to play in Commanders-Bengals Monday Night Football game

Cincinnati Bengals receiver Tee Higgins said Friday afternoon that he expects to play in the NFL Week 3 game against the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football, according to The Enquirer's Kelsey Conway.

Higgins missed the first two games of the season with a hamstring injury.

Higgins returned to practice Thursday for the first time since suffering the injury during practice September 5.

Higgins had 42 catches for 656 yards with five touchdowns in 12 games last season.

Defensive back Vonn Bell, who appeared Thursday on the team's injury report with a back injury, did not practice with the team Friday.

Defensive tackles Sheldon Rankins and BJ Hill, both suffering from hamstring injuries, missed practice Friday as well.
