GREENVILLE, S.C. – Lady Vols basketball has a rematch in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals.
No. 5 seed Tennessee (18-11) will face No. 4 seed Alabama (23-8) at at Bon Secours Wellness Arena on Friday (2:30 p.m. ET, SEC Network). The Lady Vols beat Kentucky 76-62 on Thursday to advance to the quarterfinals. Tennessee will face Alabama for a second time this season – it lost 72-56 to the Tide on the road in the regular season.
"They finished strong down the stretch. They've really been clicking," Lady Vols coach Kellie Harper said Thursday. "You watch their offense, sometimes you lose sight of how good they are defensively. They do a great job game planning. We know it's going to be a huge challenge."
