Things to do: Truck, tractor and semi pulls continue and annual glass show returns

The Southeastern Ohio Pulling Series is bringing trucks, tractors and semis to the Muskingum County Fairgrounds for the 2024 Summer Pull on Saturday. According to the Facebook event page, the confirmed classes include 6200 modified stock 4x4 gas, 6200 cheater stock gas trucks, 6200 pro stock gas trucks, 8200 work stock diesel trucks, 800 2.6 smooth bore diesel trucks, 9500 hot farm tractors, 10,00 3k rpm 12 mph tractors, 6500 big block hot rods, 9000 limited light pro tractors and 7500 super modified RWYB trucks. General admission is $10, with kids 10 and under free. The pulling is set to kick off at 5:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.southeasternohiopullingseries.com. Wild Wednesday

Salt Fork State Park's Naturalist John Hickenbottom will be at Deerassic to share his wealth of knowledge. Join him as he hosts the Wild Wednesday presentation on edible plants which will be held in the new Education Center classroom. The event is scheduled to run from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday. Glass show

The 2024 Cambridge Glass Show returns to the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center. Glass collectors and enthusiasts get ready, this glass show is sure to bring out some amazing and vintage finds. Highlighting the works of the Cambridge Glass Company, attendees will also find pieces by known manufacturers such as Heisey, Imperial, Morgantown, Fenton, Duncan Miller, Tiffin, Westmoreland and more. The event is scheduled to run from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, June 28, and from 10:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 29. Admission costs $5 and is valid for entry on both days. A pre-show sale, called the Glass Dash, will be held from 7 to 11 a.m. Friday in the gymnasium of St Benedict's, 701 Steubenville Ave., Cambridge. Fireman's festival

The Byesville Village Park is all set to rock out and celebrate summer at the annual fireman's festival. Headlining the event this year is Tyler Reese Tritt, daughter of Travis Tritt, performing Saturday in the gazebo. Also scheduled to perform are Tracy Blaine and other local musicians. Costumed characters will be in the parade and roaming around at various times throughout to visit with the kiddos. Stop by and see Mickey, Minnie and Bluey. The two-day festival will feature a car show, 5K, live music, food and the Byesville Blast fireworks. The festival is scheduled to run from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Country concert

Head to Blossom on Friday and see Bocephus himself, as Hank Williams Jr. will take over the stage. Bringing the energy and delivering a rowdy, impressive performance, the legend and three-time Grammy winner will have you in the palms of his hands. Hits "All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight" and more will have you on your feet. Tickets start at $54 for lawn seats and can be purchased by visiting the Live Nation website. Opening acts for the evening include Marty Stuart and Kendell Marvel. The show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Blossom Music Center is at 1145 W. Steels Corners Road in Cuyahoga Falls.
