Thursday Roundup: Zanesville girls fall to West Holmes, Ridgewood girls keep rolling

Girls Basketball

West Holmes 57, Zanesville 28: The Lady Devils (1-10) trailed 20-3 to start the game, but got as close as 34-24 in the third quarter before the Knights pulled away for the win.

Aveona Yoder had 13 of her game-high 17 points in the second half for West Holmes, while Keegan Uhl and Briar Cline had 11 points each in the win.

Kamy Morgan, Lakeyah Butcher, Taelyn Dickinson and Isabella Norman had five points each for Zanesville.

Ridgewood 52, Central Christian 17: Kat Kelley and Kierston Latham scored 14 points apiece and Kya Masloski added seven to lead the Generals (8-2) in a non-league win.

Danville 46, River View 34: Annie Killiany collected 10 points and Elaina Brenly added eight for the Lady Bears (1-10) in a loss to the Blue Devils.

Addison Mickley finished with 16 points and Kylee Hess scored nine for Danville.

Danville reserves won 45-23 behind 18 points each by Kelsey Hackman and Kendal Leplay. Emma Prouty's seven points paced River View.

Madison Christian 44, Rosecrans 29: The Bishops (3-7) fell behind 13-5 after one quarter and couldn't recover in a loss to the Eagles at Rogge Gymnasium.

Wrestling

Tri-Valley 42, Sheridan 34: The Scotties picked up a Big School Division win over the Generals.
