With the 2024 high school volleyball season starting next week, here are 50 Austin-area players to watch, headlined by our top 10 preseason players:
Henley Anderson, Dripping Springs
Anderson is only a junior and is already the American-Statesman's two-time Central Texas player of the year and a member of the U-19 USVBA national team who has committed to Texas. The outside hitter led the Tigers to the 2022 UIL state tournament as a freshman and to last year's regional finals. She has averaged double-digit kills and digs the past two years.
Simone Baskin, Bowie
Bowie's senior middle blocker had a great junior year followed by a strong club season. Last year she had 161 kills, 20 aces and averaged 2.9 kills and two blocks per set. She can play six positions.

Lily Davis, Westlake
The senior outside hitter is one of Central Texas' premier all-around players. The Texas-bound beach volleyball pledge is a six-rotation standout who was District 26-6A's MVP last year. Her 634 kills were sixth-most in the state, according to MaxPreps, and she averaged 4.8 per set. She led Westlake with 62 aces and had 535 digs.

Laney Hennessee, Wimberley
Headed to play for Alabama, the two-time All-Central Texas outside hitter averaged 4.4 kills per set for the Texans, who were regional finalists last year and have gone 102-27 in Hennessee's three years.
Riley Malloy, Austin High
One of two juniors on our top 10 list, Malloy is a 6-foot-4 outside hitter and six-rotation standout who had 387 kills, 258 digs and a team-leading 41 aces. She averaged 3.8 kills per set.
Raegan Ramirez, Georgetown
The UTSA-bound libero is her district's reigning MVP and is an uber-athletic defensive standout with exceptional ball handling and footwork skills. She averaged double-digit digs as a junior last year when the Eagles won a co-district championship.
