With the 2024 high school volleyball season starting next week, here are 50 Austin-area players to watch, headlined by our top 10 preseason players:

Henley Anderson, Dripping Springs

Anderson is only a junior and is already the American-Statesman's two-time Central Texas player of the year and a member of the U-19 USVBA national team who has committed to Texas. The outside hitter led the Tigers to the 2022 UIL state tournament as a freshman and to last year's regional finals. She has averaged double-digit kills and digs the past two years.

Simone Baskin, Bowie

Bowie's senior middle blocker had a great junior year followed by a strong club season. Last year she had 161 kills, 20 aces and averaged 2.9 kills and two blocks per set. She can play six positions.
