Travis Kelce on why Taylor Swift scored ‘beaucoup points’ with him at Chiefs game

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce scored big points with girlfriend Taylor Swift by taking the stage Sunday at her Eras Tour concert in London.

“I’m still cracking up/swooning over @killatrav’s Eras Tour debut,” Swift wrote on Instagram.

Turns out that Swift also made quite the impression on Kelce the first time she showed up at his job. It came last September when the Chiefs crushed the Bears at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kelce recounted on the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast how Swift didn’t need any special treatment at Arrowhead that day. In fact, she didn’t want it.

“The first game she came to against the Bears, I was like, ‘Hey, yeah, so you’re coming, OK, so I could probably set you up with everything’ and she just walked right through the front door,” Kelce said. “It was just like there’s no ... going down, talking to security. ... She was, ;I just want to be around the family and friends and like experience this with everybody.’ I was just like, she got beaucoup points for that. I was like damn, she’s just in the madness, man. She wants to be a part of it. She wants to support me and do things like that. I was like, man, she really won me over with that.”

But that wasn’t the first moment when Kelce first began to fall for Swift.

That came when the two began hanging out together and with loved ones.

“She’s very self-aware,” Kelce said of Swift’s fame. “She understands situations like that and I think that’s why I really started (to) really fall for was how genuine she is around just like friends, family. It can get crazy for somebody with that much like attention and she just keeps it so chill and so cool and I can admire her for sure.”

Kelce also picked his three favorite songs by Swift.

Here is a clip of Kelce talking about Swift (and be warned, there is some cursing).
