Collierville football's Thursday night high school football game vs Douglass originally scheduled for 7 p.m. has been rescheduled for Friday at 4 p.m., Dragons coach Joe Rocconi confirmed.

Thursday's game is the first to be impacted by Hurricane Francine, whose remnants are moving through the Memphis area after making landfall as a Category 2 hurricane in Louisiana on Wednesday.

Both Collierville Schools and Memphis-Shelby County School dismissed students from campuses Thursday morning.

The Memphis area is under a flood watch until 10 p.m. Thursday and a wind advisory until 1 a.m. Friday. The city is expected to get two to three inches of rain on Thursday.

Schools in Northern Mississippi have also canceled classes Thursday in preparation for bad weather.

This week is the second to be impacted by weather, as rain and lightning canceled several games across the Memphis area in Week 2.
