TVLine Items: American Gladiators Reboot, Bluey Minisodes Date and More

American Gladiators is returning to the Gauntlet.

Prime Video has picked up a revival of the physical competition series, which originally aired in syndication from 1989-1996.

The new iteration will once again pit a team of Gladiators against a team of Contenders in classic challenges like Gauntlet, Hang Tough and The Eliminator, as well as new ones. A nationwide casting search is currently underway for Contenders.

American Gladiators was previously rebooted in 2008 by NBC, where the series ran for two seasons and was hosted by Hulk Hogan and Laila Ali.
