TxDOT bridge work includes I-40 over Tyler, Harrison streets

Officials from the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) released information on various lane closures and updates due to ongoing projects:

On Monday, July 22, anticipate various lane and ramp closures on westbound IH-40 over Tyler Street and Harrison Street for bridge work. The following ramps will be closed during that time:

  • Southbound US 287 to westbound IH-40 entrance ramp

  • Westbound IH-40 to Washington Street exit ramp

The ramps are expected to open back up this weekend. The work is expected to be completed by Friday, Aug. 2.

Please drive with caution and reduce speed through all work zones. All projects are subject to change due to weather, emergency work and other unexpected events. For the most up-to-date road conditions, visit www.drivetexas.org .
