Union County lottery player wins $10K playing Mega Millions

A lottery player in Union County won $10,000 in the Friday, Sept. 6, Mega Millions drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at Mr. Mike's Convenience Store in Vauxhall, 2933 Vauxhall Road. The winning numbers were: 6, 23, 41, 59 and 63, with 25 as the Gold Megaball.

Players can pick six numbers from two separate pools of numbers ― five different numbers from 1 to 70 (the white balls) and one number from 1 to 25 (the gold Mega Ball) ― or select Easy Pick/Quick Pick. Players win the jackpot by matching all six winning numbers in a drawing. Drawings are held at 11 p.m. ET Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m. and can be streamed online. Visit www.megamillions.com.
