Upstate high school football Week 3 schedule, highlighted by unbeatens BHP and Westside

The Upstate’s high school football schedule for Week 3 is the lightest of the season with 14 teams on bye. Five of the eight teams in Region 2-AAAAA and eight of the top 14 teams in last week’s Super 25 rankings are off.

Those with open dates are Boiling Springs (3-0), Christ Church (0-3), Daniel (2-1), Dorman (2-1), Easley (1-2), Greenville (0-3), Hillcrest (3-0), J.L. Mann (2-1), Riverside (3-0), Southside Christian (1-2), Spartanburg (2-1), Travelers Rest (1-2) and Wade Hampton (0-3).

But there are a couple of matchups between undefeated teams: No. 6 Belton-Honea Path at No. 1 Westside, and Blue Ridge at Eastside. Fourth-ranked T.L. Hanna is at unbeaten No. 20 Wren.

Here are this week’s games, all scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday.
