How to watch Simone Biles and the US women's gymnastics team in the Team Final today

Simone Biles and the U.S. women's gymnastics team are competing in the team final today at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Biles, 27, is widely regarded as one of the greatest gymnasts of all time. She's won a record 23 gold medals at world championships across team and individual competition and seven Olympic medals. She competed in the 2016 Rio and 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games and has had one of the longest and most successful gymnastics careers in the sport's history.

Biles is also well-known in Wisconsin for her connection to the Green Bay Packers. She is married to NFL player Jonathan Owens, the former Packers safety who now plays for the Chicago Bears. Biles made appearances at Lambeau Field last season and praised Green Bay for its hospitality.

She will compete today with teammates Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera. They are heavy favorites to win gold, after a dominant qualifying on Sunday. Biles tweaked her calf in qualifying, but still sparkled in the session and will compete in all four events in the team final.

What time is Simone Biles competing in the women's gymnastics team finals?

The women's gymnastics team final takes place from 11:15 a.m. CT until 1:30 p.m. CT.

NBC is airing the women's gymnastics team final and Peacock is live-streaming it. You can stream NBC's coverage on NCBOlympics.com.

In addition to daytime coverage of the Olympics, NBC will deliver a three-hour Olympics primetime show beginning at 6:30 p.m. CT. Replays of women's gymnastics, women's swimming (backstroke) and surfing will begin at 7 p.m. CT.

  • The women's team final begins at 11:15 a.m. CT Tuesday, July 30.

  • The women's all-around final is at 11:15 a.m. CT Thursday, Aug. 1.

  • The women's vault final is at 9:20 a.m. CT Saturday, Aug. 3.

  • The women's uneven bars final is at 8:40 a.m. CT Sunday, Aug. 4.

  • The women's balance beam final (5:36 a.m. CT) and floor exercise final (7:20 a.m.) are on Monday, Aug. 5.

Is Simone Biles' husband Jonathan Owens in Paris?

Yes! Jonathan Owens landed in Paris on Tuesday morning, hours before the team final. He posted a photo of himself on a plane to his Instagram story Monday night, with the caption, "Coming for you baby." About 10 hours later, he posted another photo of a street scene with the "Paris, France" location tag.

Despite the Chicago Bears being in the middle of training camp, Biles said after the Olympic trials that the Bears had given Owens permission to be absent for "a couple of days" so he could go to Paris.

The Bears gave Owens time off from July 29 to Aug. 3, which includes their first preseason game: Aug. 1 against the Houston Texans, the team Owens played for before he signed with the Packers in 2023. That means in addition to the team final, Owens will be able to watch Biles in the all-around final on Thursday, Aug. 1. Owens said he asked the Bears for the time off when he was negotiating his contract with them in the spring.
