Here's a look at some of the Week 2 high school football results from across Portage County. All coaches are encouraged to send box scores every week to sports@recordpub.com.

Southeast 41, Mathews 6

The Pirates broke open a two-point game at the half with a 20-point third quarter.

With Southeast holding a slim 8-6 lead, Alaunte Massrock took the opening kickoff of the second half 70 yards for a touchdown. Bryer Pickana added his second TD run of the game and Joe Sharish found Nathanael Rivera for a 29-yard score before the third quarter was through.

Pickana led the Pirates (1-1) in carries (11) and rushing yards (199), including touchdown runs of 40 and 84 yards.

Streetsboro 58, Normandy 0

The Rockets moved to 2-0 behind an absolutely dominant performance, putting up 381 rushing yards while holding the Invaders to minus-4 yards on the ground.

Cohen Klimak, who got Streetsboro going with touchdown runs of 44 and 30 yards in the opening quarter, finished with six carries for 146 yards and three touchdowns as well as two more scores through the air.

Janiere Cook had three touchdown runs, all in the second quarter, on just four carries while Logan Fincham also scored twice.

Crestwood 38, Minerva 0

Nate Blasiole turned in another strong performance for the Red Devils with 24 carries for 182 yards and two touchdowns.

Charlie Sommer also had multiple touchdown runs for Crestwood (2-0), and Michael Kalista had the longest scoring run of the game (45 yards) in the fourth quarter.

Rootstown 35, Champion 0

Blake Mullaly and Damien Reuting had two touchdown runs apiece in the first half as the Rovers (1-1) wasted little time avenging a frustrating offensive performance in Week 1.

A week after turning the ball over seven times, Rootstown didn't have a single turnover. Reuting ran for 96 yards on 19 carries, Mullaly completed all three of his passes for 87 yards and Dominic Duvall had eight carries for 79 yards.

The Rovers also dominated defensively, holding the Golden Flashes to 130 yards.

Aurora 48, Lutheran West 0

The Greenmen left no doubt with a 35-point second quarter.

After notching a 42-yard touchdown run for the only points of the opening quarter, Lucas Manderbach scored twice more in the second quarter. In addition to a 66-yard touchdown run, Manderbach caught a 31-yard TD pass from Ryan Dwyer in the second.

Manderbach had 129 yards on just five carries while Dwyer completed all five of his passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns. Zach Pannetti also had multiple touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving.

Windham 45, East Palestine 12

After a back-and-forth start in which the Bombers and Bulldogs exchanged touchdowns, Jack Eye helped give the home team a more comfortable lead.

With Windham leading 13-12, Eye notched an 11-yard TD run in the first quarter=. The senior added a 49-yard TD run in the second and a 16-yard TD catch and 67-yard fumble return for a TD in the third. Eye finished with 172 yards and three rushing touchdowns on just eight carries.

Waterloo 24, Leetonia 0

The Vikings pitched their second straight shutout to open the season.

Meanwhile, quarterback Landon McClain and receivers Matthew Ralston and Kade Thomas led a potent aerial attack once again for Waterloo.
