You don't need to know the difference between a three-card and a Celtic cross spread to get the most out of a tarot card reading. All you need: your Sun sign! Here's what I do: Shuffle my tarot deck and pull out the cards in order from Aries to Pisces plus one general card for everyone so that you can get specific advice around your personality. Let’s go!

A GENERAL CARD FOR EVERYONE: KNIGHT OF WANDS

Leo season is upon us, and with it comes the perfect person for this fiery, adventurous time: the Knight of Wands. He is represents the fire sign element and embodies their key traits: passion, spontaneity, courage, confidence, and the desire to explore. This week is a great time to travel, start something new, experiment, and challenge yourself. What do you have to lose? Every experience is valuable. Get out there and have an adventure.

ARIES: PAGE OF PENTACLES

Career progress unfolds in many ways, with many different influences. One proven technique, however, is to learn new skills, realize how to maximize them at work, and then share them with others. Easy, right? The Page of Pentacles wants you to do this if you want to move forward in your career trajectory. So… learn, maximize, and share. Who knows where this knowledge could take you? (It’s likely to be upwards!)

TAURUS: THE WORLD

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

The World card is always a nudge to broaden your horizons, explore, travel, and experience more of the world. New landscapes = new opportunity. Changing your location or even just your daily route can change your perspective. It’s the fastest, easiest way to shift a negative mindset and reboot your mood. So, Taurus, see the world (even if it’s just the next neighborhood over). Make it your mission to explore places you’ve never been.

GEMINI: THE MOON

Everyone sees you as the sign with the most intel at your fingertips, from data to news to gossip. Your ruling planet, Mercury, makes you adept at sniffing out what matters and what’s changing. The Moon brings you a new mystery to solve this week, so get your detective costume ready. Ask questions, fact-check, and research. The info you uncover this week will make a difference to your future.

CANCER: QUEEN OF PENTACLES

Although this tarot queen is associated with earth signs, she’s very much an ally to you, too, Cancer. Like you, she’s big on security, certainty, and safety. Her presence in your tarot reading urges you to do things to strengthen and repair your foundations. I'm talking about the fundamental things: Health, wealth, work, and home. Focus on these areas and take responsibility for making a positive change, even if it’s only to plan something. Look after yourself well, like this queen does.

LEO: KNIGHT OF SWORDS

Leos are made for battle. Fighting, standing up for yourself (or others), pushing back… you’re used to it. The Knight of Swords sees you leading a charge this week, undoubtedly to set or re-establish a boundary. It’s important to be clear and firm about where you stand and what you will and will not accept. Ultimatums are pointless. Take initiative.

VIRGO: TEN OF PENTACLES

You could win an Olympic medal for long-term planning. You love to sit down with your journal and some Post-Its and plot out a pathway towards whatever goal is currently on your radar. The Ten of Pentacles invites such an activity this week. This card asks you to focus on a ten year timespan, and to consider either health, wealth, work, or home. What long-term ambitions or ideals do you aspire to? And what action could you adopt in the present to help lay foundations for the future?

LIBRA: THE FOOL

The Fool is a positive card. It's the first card in the tarot deck, representing new beginnings and clean slates. It is linked to the planet Uranus, so these fresh starts are often unexpected, a little radical, very progressive, and not THAT well thought out. Don’t worry too much about the long-term this week; just focus on your first steps into whatever new adventure you’re thinking of. Let it be inspiring, fun, and only for YOU. No one has to give you permission. Go for it.

SCORPIO: STRENGTH

You are known to be powerful, fearless, and self-sufficient. Some might even call you the ultimate warrior of the zodiac. Strength is with you this week as a reminder of your power and a nudge to use it judiciously, wisely, and mercifully. Strength is not about brute force or aggression. Instead, it's about mercy, patience, endurance, resilience, and bravery. These are the true tests of your character, and you are currently going through something that ignites one of them. Know that you are supported. You will come through this stronger.

SAGITTARIUS: THE HIEROPHANT

Margie Rischiotto+Rider-Waite

You've always enjoyed philosophy. You like to examine how the world works, what makes people tick, and what really goes on underneath all of the noise. The Hierophant sees you on a knowledge-seeking quest this week, searching for answers to really big questions. This might be through formal or informal education, or just debate and discussion. Zoom in on your clued-up, opinionated friends and family and spark some lively discussions. Learn from other people. Try out new ideas. Expand your mind, and you'll also expand your outlook on life.

CAPRICORN: THE DEVIL

Did you know that The Devil is your tarot card? Don't worry; it's not all bad. This card represents a worldly, sophisticated, materialistic energy; the "greed is good" mantra, and you’re no stranger to those vibes. All Capricorns are ambitious. You want to make a success of yourself and live well. This is a powerful week for you and your ambitions. An opportunity to leapfrog closer to the prize may present itself, but it may also carry some risk. Look before you leap. Know the consequences before you take the short-cut.

AQUARIUS: QUEEN OF CUPS

Your emotional landscape can get a little overgrown because you’re more firmly rooted in cerebral analysis. The Queen of Cups asks you to check in with your heart this week. How are you doing? What feelings are swirling around in your mind and what sensations are going on in your body? Take time to think, meditate, daydream, reflect, and talk about your emotional responses with your loved ones. Take a pause, understand how you’re doing and what might need attention, and then attend to it. This is an important little time-out.

PISCES: EIGHT OF WANDS

You are entering a very busy and lucky phase for the next couple of months, where you seem to be in demand and in the center of everything. You're in the right place, at the right time. Make the most of this energy because lots of invitations and opportunities are coming your way and you don’t want to miss out. Be busy, be social, be active, and be motivated. This summer could be a real turning point for you.
