Yellowstone star Wendy Moniz has completed her scenes on the fifth and final season, and has looked back on her experience on the show created by Taylor Sheridan.

Taking to Instagram, Moniz, who plays Governor Lynelle Perry on the series, shared a carousel of snaps from her seven years as part of the Yellowstone family.

"Series wrap for me on Yellowstone and been having alllll the feels: sentimental, proud, grateful to name a few," Moniz captioned her post.

"What a beautiful experience I've had here. Just incredibly fortunate to have worked with so many talented, dedicated, and kind people since 2017," she added.

Moniz explained she completed her last scene as Governor Perry on August 1.

"There's been a lot to reflect on, because this place, with the exceptional people who make it live and breathe, has often felt like a home away from home over these last 7 years," she wrote.

Moniz's emotional tribute to the show was met with an outpouring of support from fans and celebrities, including her Yellowstone co-star Kelly Reilly.

"Wendy !!! I adore you .. we all do . You have just been so amazing to work with all these years !!! Congratulations," Reilly wrote.

Moniz also confirmed the Western drama — now without Kevin Costner, who exited to focus on his production of his movie series Horizon: An American Saga — will return for series 5 part 2 on November 10, calling the return to screens "epic".

Speaking about his exit, Costner shut down the idea of a possible return as John Dutton in an Instagram post.

"I just wanna reach out and let you know that after this long year and a half of working on Horizon, doing all of the things that's required, and thinking about Yellowstone – that beloved series that I love, that I know you love – I just realised that I'm not going to be able to continue season 5B or into the future," he wrote in June.

"It was something that really changed me," he continued.

"I loved it, and I know you loved it. And I just wanted to let you know that I won't be returning. And I love the relationship that we've been able to develop, and I'll see you at the movies."

Yellowstone season 5, part 2, will air on the Paramount Network from November 10, and comes to streaming on Paramount+ from November 11 in the UK.
