Zendaya Wore a Bubble Gown, Then a Cutout Jacket and Maxi Skirt in NYC
On Saturday, Zendaya was in New York City for the “For Your Consideration” screening of her film Dune: Part Two and she delivered with two looks in one night.
First, the Challengers star was seen leaving her hotel in a white cutout jacket by Burberry paired with a black ribbed vest with a black pleated transparent maxi skirt featuring a thigh-high slit. On her feet were a pair of white sandal heels with cords wrapping around her ankles. Zendaya had her hair swept back from her face in a wet look and wore small hoop earrings.
Later, she was seen in an emerald green bubble minidress with an off-the-shoulder neckline. She wore it with a pair of black pointed-toe suede heels. Both looks displayed her long toned legs.
Zendaya was joined at the event by her costars Austin Butler and Timothée Chalamet. She plays Chani in the Dune series, which also stars Florence Pugh and Rebecca Ferguson. The star has been very busy with her film projects, but she teased a potential return to singing while on The Jennifer Hudson Show in April, saying she was waiting for the “right timing” for releasing new music.
“I love music, and it’s something that’s been special to me,” she shared. “I think being in the music industry, maybe it, it didn’t kill the joy of music, but it’s when you put music and business together. Sometimes it cannot feel so good.”
She admitted, “I have bad memories of performing live when I was a kid,” but added that she “can’t run from this forever.”
Zendaya continued, “You know, I think if the right timing and it came, because I like creating it for myself, but if there was a moment, maybe I would, you know, put out a little something...Don’t get crazy! We’ll see, but maybe one day.”
